Keah studied her Pilates foundation with Alan Herdman who teaches not just another exercise system, or a method of ‘getting fit’ but a philosophy and understanding which can be used for the rest of your life. Alan Herdman introduced Pilates to the UK in 1970 from America.
Pilates is an exercise method, designed to elongate, strengthen and restore the body to balance.
Keah teaches a dynamic style of pilates, yet her calm personality will relax your mind and body. Classes focus on detoxification of toxins, strength, alignment as well as rehabilitation but most importantly wellbeing.
Using my knowledge of martial arts and alternative therapies to incorporate into my style of teaching. I work to re-educate and restore the body to optimum muscular and skeletal function, as well as detoxify and re-energize the body to achieve weight-loss, improved fitness, greater flexibility, stress relief and a heightened sense of wellbeing.
